Flexible seating is an awesome way for kids to do their best learning during independent work time. Some students sit under their desks or sit in bean bags in my classroom. I am lucky enough to have an enclosed atrium attached to my classroom. This has become an extra place for learning to take place. My kids are so excited to go sit out in the sun and read a book and write. It really brings out the best in their work. My students are more engaged and having the atrium as an extra workspace has enriched the learning environment. The outdoor sectional I have selected will give more seating options for my students. The will have more options to choose from with their individualized learning. They will have an area that they can also work with other students on projects. This outdoor sectional will replace our old worn out couch and torn chairs that are not safe for the students to use anymore. This outdoor area will be the perfect spot for a kid to curl up with a book and be taken to another world.
