Books take us into a whole new world. There's so much joy in reading and students need encouragement to participate in literature activities. Our class participates in book talks where each student shares the book he/she is reading. Their faces light up when they share their book. Often times, I'll see students negotiating with each other about who will get to read the book next. All students can learn to love reading. We just need to give them the opportunity to do so.

About my class
