Our students are energetic, intelligent and very athletic. They enjoy all sports and look forward to PE. They love to play basketball and soccer. Often students gather around during recess to enjoy a good game of soccer or basebasket. Unfortunately, this and PE is sometimes the only physical activity our students receive. Being from a minority neighborhood many of the parents with larger families don't have the time to allow their children to play in the park after school or on the weekends. Many of our students only experience physical activities within the PE setting and learn about wellness through our health lessons. Our goal is to provide our students with as much health knowledge and physical activity as possible through different resources such as music, music videos for zumba, NYC fitnessgram videos, NYC move to improve videos and discovery education health videos to borden their learning experiences.

About my class
