Students will use the materials to find relevance of art in history and modern day life. These materials will help students create hands-on projects. They love coming to art class and love being given the chance to be creative. Using books to read about an artist's struggle will help students better understand the importance of art! We will use the books to introduce the theme and social ideas behind each project. Whenever given the chance, I love to incorporate other subjects into the Visual Art classroom. Books are the best way to do that!
