Students in my classroom struggle to maintain attention to tasks at hand. My students learn and connect best with tangible, exciting and interactive lessons. By providing supplemental activities to access deeper thinking skills, my students progress and skill mastery will only increase. Being able to provide my students with hands on, curriculum centered activities, I will able to reach their specific learning needs and styles in a variety ways. Hands on math centers, engaging stories at their levels, creating with blocks and taking phonics skills and making them hands on will allow my students the opportunity to succeed.
