My students have to carefully sit on broken chairs, or borrow chairs from other classrooms, which distracts them from learning. Our current chairs are broken due to heavy use and age. I don't have enough chairs, so additional ones have to be borrowed and then returned during the day. The existing tables are too big for my tiny room, and don't provide enough space to walk around them when all the students are there. New rectangular tables for our room will provide space for students to walk around so they can write on the board, move to work in groups or work separately with a teacher. Learning English can be challenging. Using color to identify activities at new tables and matching chairs, will provide visual information for the students as they are learning English. With color-coded tables and chairs, my students can connect what activities will happen where. With your help we can have three tables and matching chairs in the primary colors (red, yellow & blue), plus a fourth set in orange. Reading, writing, listening and speaking English is challenging to learn. Help my students receive chairs and tables to provide safe seating and right-sized tables for learning in my tiny classroom.
