While tending to our students social/emotional needs, academics are still essential to their learning. Since our program is just starting up, we do not have an adequate library for our students to make use of. Every student deserves a good book to read! However, with such limited quantity, my students are not able to enjoy something that would ordinarily be considered common in most schools. With these books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of rich selections that they can read independently on their level. They will also be given a vast selection to find a book that interests them and to enhance their reading skills. Having these books in my classroom will allow students to continue to grow and develop their passion for reading.
