My students come from low-income families, who are reading below grade level, and coming to school is hard everyday when parents aren't around to help them grow. I have 16 boys and 8 girls this school year. Keeping students engaged and excited about learning requires me to step outside the traditional teaching style. I use movement, music, art, and drama to teach and the students are learning.
