I am a first grade teacher in a title one classroom. Many of my students come from homes where they have little exposure to age appropriate books. Students that have learning disabilities really struggle because not only do they not have exposure to books at home, they have issues focusing on the materials. This project is funding books to let them know they're not alone. I am also providing classroom appropriate materials to help "get the wiggles out".
