A well managed classroom is also a well organized classroom. Organization is key to an effective, enriching learning environment. By utilizing personal chair pockets, students are learning to be organized, responsible, and self sufficient while maintaining their own work space. Chair pockets are a convenient way to effectively organize student materials in a small space. These pockets also provide students with a sense of ownership due to everyone having their own sack to be responsible for. Utilizing chair pockets will also cut down on transitional time, decrease classroom disruptions, and increase instructional time. Our current chair pockets now are a great asset to our daily routine, however they are very worn out and beginning to gain many holes.
