Welcome to Mrs. Homchick's 1st grade class! Inside you'll hear the sound of learning and feel the buzz of excitement as first graders explore new books and share ideas. These kiddos are having a blast learning how to read and are finally seeing themselves as readers. I work in a very diverse school, both economically and culturally. We have an ever-changing population and families come and go often. Students at my school come each day ready to work and ready to learn. This project is one way I want to give back and support not only my students, but their families too.
