What can I say about my students? Wow. These are students from all types of cultural backgrounds. They all have the will to reach the top of the mountain. Unfortunately, the majority of my students also come from backgrounds that economically challenged. Many of my students have never experienced foods from any other culture but their own. Yet they want to be able to not only savor the foods of other cultures but also master the ability to cook those foods as well. But first they must learn how to safely prepare and maintain a healthy eating environment.
