My classroom consists of mainly special needs students who love science. Unfortunately it is difficult to conduct labs within my classroom due to the lack of proper supplies for them to use. Many of my students lack fine motor skills which makes it easy for them drop items we are working with. These students struggle in many classes and use my science classes as the one pressure free place they can succeed. We have a ton of hands-on activities that I feel provide them with the skills they need to be successful in life. If I can show them to be successful in one aspect in their life, then it tends to transfer to other subjects.
