I have 21 different students in my class, which means that I have 21 different people who learn in a different way. Some students are not meant to sit in a desk all day and that is okay! Having these materials will allow my students to access learning in which ever way works best for them. We need wobble chairs, balance balls, lap desks for sitting on the floor, and floor seats to go along with them. Having the option the wiggle and move may just help that student who has a hard time focusing. Having an option to sit on the floor might just help that student that needs some alone time to focus. As we ask more and more out of our young students we also need to provide more and more choices and options for them to also be successful in the classroom!
