In our classroom we have 21 students desks. When working in small groups we need to rearrange desks, sit on the floor or work in student desks together. With a guided reading or math table it will make it much easier for my class to work in small groups. There will be a designated area to work and rearranging desks will not be necessary. The dry erase top will make working through problems together extremely beneficial. Along with a guided reading/math table, our classroom would also benefit from other seating options such as stools and laptop trays to work around the room in small groups. My students and I have found that small groups are the best groups when meeting our learning needs.
