This particular project will be a great way to learn about the world they live in. We are building a campus garden system on our high school campus. I would like to have vertical as well as raised beds for the vegetable and floral gardens. My science classes will be using the vertical gardens to research water pressure and flow since these gardens will be hydroponic systems. I will also be teaching my classes about soil fertilization, seed growth and maintenance. While we are taking care of the scientific research I have also asked my art department and other departments to join in the project. We will be adding mosaics and bird houses along with murals to our project. This is will allow multiple groups of students to be involved and benefit from the project.
