One word- relationships. I enjoy forming relationships with my students. I want them to feel comfortable around me. Learning cannot take place unless students feel and know that they are loved. I set high expectations for my students without enabling them. The students that come through my classroom are our future, and they should be given every opportunity to succeed no matter what they look like or where they come from.
