Your point of view is unique. No one sees the world through your eyes - but you! When children learn this they develop a powerful respect for their own and other people's uniqueness. Our hearts open up as we learn to appreciate, rather than fear, differences. We all know how vitally important this is in our world today. The ARTS teach us to appreciate the Power of our unique point of view! In this DRAWING PROJECT students will draw the vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines they see as they study an open doorway. Then, they will contemplate their lives at this moment in time. They will create a collage of colorful photographs that depict their imagined future and place them in the partially visible opening of the doorway.
