In my ELA classroom, my students LOVE working around the room. At the middle school level, my students need the chance to move, spread out, and work where they are comfortable, especially because they are in my room for a block period of 90 minutes! During the independent practice portion of my class I allow the students to move around the room. This would also be somewhere I would be able to meet with small groups of students to work on specific skills or tasks. A BONUS, students would be so motivated by the engaging,  flexible seating for the three small hightop tables I have created around the room. Many times, my students also need space to write or read independently. With these stools, my students will be engaged and be able to use this in their everyday learning.
