I often look around my classroom while my students are learning, working, and playing and see them in a variety of learning ‘poses’ throughout the room. Having the ability to work comfortably increases student performance. Allowing my students the option to work freely in the classroom also allows them the freedom to make choices for their education. Keeping students invested by offering choices within the classroom helps them take control of their education. Having flexible seating options will help my students be successful both in and outside of the classroom.
