We would love to add a listening center to our Kindergarten classroom. We spend time everyday in working in daily 5 reading centers. My students love looking at our big books and other classroom library texts but would enjoy them even more if they could also listen to them. This listening center will add a text-rich opportunity for students to enjoy reading on a daily basis. Students will LOVE reading and listening to these amazing stories. Students will be able to follow along while listening to the stories. Then students will complete a text reflection assignment. They will be asked to give the book a star rating and illustrate their favorite or the most important part from the text.

About my class
