Project Lead the Way is a nationwide STEM program that is geared towards students who are interested in science, technology, engineering and math. Specifically, the path related to biomedical sciences prepares students for a future in the medical field. This class is called Human Body Systems and walks students through the anatomy and physiology of the human body from the standpoint of the function of the body system. Students are able to investigate these body systems through engaging, hands on lessons. At many points, students are asked to mimic the role of a specific medical professional to better help them understand their role in medical advancements.
