No matter what grade is being taught, all students are on the same reading level...As educators, we know this is not the case. Unfortunately, our reading curriculum is created like a "one size fits all" for reading ability. In order to reach all students no matter their reading level, small group instruction is crucial. I have chosen novels based on student reading levels and interest. These novels will be used in small-group instruction to enhance engagement and student success. For my project, I have chosen a variety of novels that will peak my students interest. My students love stories about animals and anything that can make them laugh!
