My class is comprised of a combination of 4th and 5th grade students in a very small, rural, K-8 school in the Eastern Sierras. With an enrollment of just over 100 students, 55% of our students are on the free or reduced lunch program and we currently have over 30% of our students classified as English Language Learners. Our school is a safe and nurturing place for our students with amazing teachers who give their all to make attending school in a small town the best experience they can have! We strive to make every day a positive experience for our students, with structure and routines that they need, and we take pride in our school and our students' many achievements. My class in particular is full of bright, inquisitive, and engaging children who love coming to school and learning new things everyday, and I am very lucky to get to spend my day with them.
