This horseshoe-shaped table will be a meeting area for my small group instruction. I have been looking for a table that will fit our groups of 6-12 students for several years. Currently I am using two trapezoid tables lined up together in a flying "v" formation. This is less than ideal because the tables are at different heights, and they separate causing a potential pinching problem. With a diverse group of learners, it is best practice and necessary to adjust my teaching to accommodate each student's needs. One of the best ways to achieve this is through small group instruction. As students are working independently, or with partners, I am working with a small group of students. This project will give us a dedicated, safe space to meet.
