Teaching middle schoolers is hard enough; they are cranky, moody, emotional, and don't really know how to function as a pre-teen/teen. My students range from 11-14 years old. This is a time in their lives where they are developing in all areas of life, they are learning about themselves and their abilities, and what makes them special. This is very vital to a child because, in these years, we as educators are tasked with not only cultivating the minds of these children but also tasked with developing these children socially and emotionally. What I love most about my students is their investment in their own creativity, even though, at times, they need help in fostering said creativity. As a teacher, everything is by the book and structured, so when students have the ability to show their creativity and ingenuity, the heights they reach is unbelievable! Thank you for helping. :)
