My goal is to provide my students with a deeper learning experience through technology. The Acer Iconia tablets will provide students at each of the three elementary schools I serve, with consistent access to technology during their sessions. The addition of these Acer Iconia tablets for my Gifted and Talented program would allow my students to explore coding, programming, and robotics. Students will use these tablets to learn how to program the Dash and Dot robots, the Sphero robot, and Ozobot as we work our way through technology infused education. Completing robotics challenges would provide my students with the opportunity to collaborate with their peers, problem-solve creatively, and feed their curiosity. In addition, students will participate in real world, 21st century learning experiences. These opportunities will enhance my gifted and talented students’ learning in a fun and engaging way and contribute to their goal of becoming lifelong learners.
