The sensory paths created will be utilized by all students within the school building. We have a high number of students with sensory needs with include: Autism, ADD, ADHD, and other diagnosis. Over the years, our school has seen an increase in a majority of students who need to move and "get rid" of extra energy. We are looking to implement school-wide sensory based strategies that target all levels of students within the building. Various activities with designs of complexity will be developed and placed throughout the school building. Sensory Paths will include task like; hopping, jumping, walking on their toes, walking on their heels, duck walking, wall pushes, and quick feet ladder moves. Sensory Paths = Refocus Time for Learning!!
