Having a document camera in my class would help my visual students but also the ones with attention deficit. By being able to project on the board, my students will be able to see printouts, texts, and photos from a book. They will focus better on the lesson because it will be easier to stay on task to follow along with what I do or point out on the board. Another great advantage is that students will be able to present any document during class presentations and will be exposed to the use of technology. Displaying their work on the document camera would give them a sense of pride. With your donation, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and success. Another great advantage of having a document camera is that it would give me the advantage of recording a presentation and send it home as an example for students to use for homework or as a study guide. This practice will facilitate homework completion and increase their learning practices. This camera would make a difference in our class, please help us make this happen.
