If my project is fully funded, my students will be able to learn with less distraction because they will be able to sit comfortably in a chair that is suitable for their size and sensory needs. I will be able to teach them about their emotions by using materials that are fun and hands-on. My students will also be able to work on calming strategies and social-emotional goals using the sensory materials requested. My students are exceptional, which makes them each unique and in order for them to succeed and reach their full potential, they require special modifications and adaptations to their educational environment. My students make progress everyday, but the materials I requested would increase the chances of them being able to reach their goals more efficiently.
