My project will ensure that my students will have the materials necessary to fit their prefered learning style and keep them engaged in their learning while ensuring that every student in my room will have the materials necessary to parttake in a full educational expereince. This set of 4th Grade School Specialty Manipulatives will provide my students with hands on experiences while having fun a the same time. These manipulatives will be used on a daily basis while working in small groups during mathematics instruction. It will also be used for Tier II and Tier III activities and during tutorial sessions. Based on my students need's, I will be able to provide a rich learning environment conducive to my students and the classroom using modern teaching strategies. This will include cooperative learning, team play and visual representation of mathematical conepts that can be applied to everyday situations.
