The third graders in our school come from a variety of places in the world! The students may come from a variety of economically challenged homes, but they strive to succeed in becoming literate members of the community. Our school is a community. A community that values literacy, families, and students learning through collaboration and cooperation. We have reading buddies across grade level and mentoring opportunities to allow for students to be leaders. Everyone is unique, and we share our abilities to learn and grow stronger together!

About my class
