I have 55 highly energetic, curious, kind and enthusiastic fourth grader. We are at a charter school in the Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago. For many of my students, the world as they know it, lies within the city limits of Chicago. My scholars really need a lot of motivation and high interest books to help them learn about their global community. As their reading teacher, it is my goal to continuously help them develop an enthusiasm and passion for reading by constantly working to acquire new materials for them.

About my class
