Students in my classroom have sensory diet plans to assist in their academic success. Sensory diet plans are a group of activities that are specifically scheduled into a child's day to assist with attention, arousal and adaptive responses. The products, such as the swing airwalker and inflatable round ball chamber, are chosen for that child's needs based on sensory integration theory and activities are designed to produce a positive effect on a child. If funded, the selected products will be a start to increasing the students' access to items that will aid in their plans. They will help build sensory integration into their daily routine and increase their academic ability.
