The Chromebooks and headphones being requested for will be used to prepare my students for the technological world that we live in today. The students will use the Chromebooks during our Literacy centers; they will also be used to practice typing, research, reading, phonemic awareness, and literacy skills. All children have the right to technology. The students become excited when given the opportunity to use technology and that encourages a love of learning. In using this type of technology, the children that have difficulty learning in a traditional way tend to soar when given an opportunity at alternative learning. All children in my classroom should be able to have daily access to the latest supportive literacy-based learning.
