With these magnetic letters, we will have the ability to meet the needs of my diverse learners. We will have hands-on activities that center around letter recognition, letter sounds and word building. These letters are going to be useful for my students throughout the entire school year. The activities at the beginning of the year will focus on students becoming familiar with the names of each letter. We will then transition into letter sounds and creating CVC words and by the end of the year, we will spell out our sight words and CVCV long vowel words. My students will be well prepared for 1st Grade!
