Reading is fundamental for success in life. By being a strong reader, students will be able to excel in the other subject areas. Reading coincides with being a better writer. It also aids in communication. One skill that is crucial in becoming a better reader is mastering the basic levels. One the first levels is mastering CVC words. In order to do this, students must have an understanding of phonics as well. This project helps children not only better understand and create CVC words, but it also reinforces phonics skills. This project encompasses visual and tactile learners at the same time.
