My students attend a Title One school which is based on the number of students who receive free or reduced lunch. I have a large variety of students in regards to their economic situations and family dynamics. Despite all of their differences, they come together on a daily basis to learn together. Our school is a safe and wonderful place for them and a lot of learning goes on each day. My students are young and happy to come to school and they have a hunger to learn, especially science. They may not have every opportunity at home, but I feel that it is my job to provide every opportunity that I can for them while they are at school with me.
