These LEGO educational sets will afford my students the opportunity to actively participate in creating various robots and coding them using technology. This project will add an instant spirit of innovation to the curriculum. Being able to bring various models to life will excite my students and motivate them to explore the world around them. Also as an extension of this project, my students will journal about their creative process. Since they will have actually taken the steps to create the models, their writing will be authentic and I expect their love for writing to grow. Hopefully, this experience will encourage my students to explore the world of engineering, robotics, coding and other STEM-based careers in the future. The goal of this project is for the students to be able to program robots and other creations as well as document and track progress using the documentation tools.
