Remote learning is our new reality, and I want to be able offer my best and most creative instruction in our virtual setting. I can and will do this because my scholars need me to. But I need them to feel my energy and passion for their learning through Zoom. This project will give me the ability to teach on my feet and bring it for my kids! Scientifically, standing increases blood flow and reduces aches and pains, but also helps the mind stay alert and productive. When I am in the classroom, to engage and instruct my scholars, I am on my feet, delivering in my animated and enthusiastic way. I need to provide that level of teaching remotely! The docucamera will allow me to model reading strategies my scholars will need to become independent learners as critical readers and thinkers. They will be able to see how I use the strategies and learning moves before they practice and master them.
