Our classroom is a full flexible seating class. We use scoop seats, lap desks, pillows, bean bags, blow up chairs, and stools. I really enjoy student centered and student lead learning and I think they do too. I have high expectations for them and I encourage them to have them for themselves. During the time at the beginning of the year where you learn class expectations we also learn about working hard and getting what you work for rather than just expecting things. We have core values and expectations in our class rather than just a set of rules and we are working hard to be a community and a family. My students are helpful and work together to achieve the success that they deserve. They love to read and play games. As a teacher it is my job to give them the tools to get where they need to go. I strive every day to do this. "If a child cannot learn the way we teach maybe we should teach the way they learn."
