This comfy carpet will become the central hub for our learning. A place for us to share stories, experiences, ideas, questions, and precious moments as a class. It will help develop our classroom community and build a warm, inviting space where students feel safe enough to take risks. These inquisitive, young minds will enjoy using this cozy carpet during whole group instruction, partner games, literature circles, stations, and as a flexible learning space. Our second graders enjoy a sensory rich environment and they learn best when they're comfortable. Additionally, it will allow students to choose a learning spot that suits them best and contribute to their growth and success! When students are comfortable, they remain engaged in their learning task. Thank you for helping to provide such a place for our scholars!
