By providing donations for our classroom library, you are giving my students the opportunity to expand their minds in creative ways and increase their literacy at the same time! Although I have a few reading all-stars, there are many students who would benefit greatly from access to fun and interesting books that also challenge them. These books will create an equal opportunity for all of my students, regardless of income, to have access to some of the most popular and engaging books of their age. As George R. R. Martin says, “A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.”
