Welcome to a classroom where every student has the opportunity to grow, succeed and believe in their abilities. My classroom is a place where students build their confidence, strengthen essential skills and discover that learning can be exciting and rewarding. Students utilize the resources provided to practice new strategies, visualize concepts, collaborate with classmates and celebrate progress. They transform learning from a challenge into an opportunity. Through small group instruction, partner activities and team work, students develop problem solving skills, communication and perseverance. Students actively participate and take ownership of their learning and make meaningful gains in math and reading. In our classroom we foster a welcoming learning environment where all students are encouraged to take risks, learn from mistakes, ask questions and feel valued every single day.
