Students in first grade need guidance and organization to make learning easier. When students have extra time they need to pick up a book. These over the seat sacks can assist my students in keeping a few reading books at their seats while still keeping the inside of their desks and areas organized! I want to foster a love of reading, and when students choose books that are of high interest to them they begin that love. Having books in their reach where they can pick them up whenever they want is beneficial, and they can also build independence while reading.
