I teach thirteen and fourteen-year-old middle schoolers and it hard to motivate them/ make them comfortable at school! My classroom has minimal flexible seating now and I have to rotate my students out because they love to have the option of places to sit! This project would give my students' so many different seating options that I would not have to limit them on where they have to sit to make it fair. Some of my students personally picked out what flexible seating options they would have liked to see in the classroom this year. They even made the comment that if the project was funded, they would have to come back and test out the new items for themselves. This project will greatly impact my classroom environment as well as making the kids feel like this is a safe/ home like place to learn!
