In my district desktops are not being replaced in our classrooms nor being fixed. I am running out of options every time we have a computer malfunctioning in my class. My kids are excited to read using tablets and I don't have enough for them. The use of these tablets will be to read electronic books in epic, reading A to Z, smarty ants, teach your monster how to read and our core curriculum online. Students also can use them in centers to practice cursive using a writing software. Cursive is now part of our curriculum and this will be the FIRST TIME students will be exposed to it and have the opportunity to practice using a tablet.
