This is project is to supply my class some materials to enhance their learning. They come for a low-income community, so we have mostly the standard hard chairs available for them to sit on. My class enjoys reading and learning, and the materials from this project will help them. The cushions will help students that have trouble sitting while reading and learning. The beanbag chair will help my students not sit on the floor or in the hard chairs. The current one we have is a second- one that does not have much stuffing left. This project will let my class sit in a beanbag chair and read about the adventures of Pete The Cat, or Clifford. I would like to encourage learning and reading in a community of non-readers. I would like to have my lower readers feel comfortable to practice reading and learning about many new things.
