In our art classroom we are able to think about and talk about art from the present and the past by using our Promethean board. But by having these printed works of art on the walls, students will also be able to view and memorize works of art by seeing them more often. Because of their life situations, these students don't have the exposure to important works of art. Works such as Van Eyck's "Arnolfini Wedding" or Picasso's "Portrait of Dora Maar" will be in their cultural vocabulary as they move on from grade school and through the rest of their lives.

About my class
