These students are some of the 680 students I teach/counsel daily. I am a certified school teacher and school counselor. These students are in 2nd and 3rd grades. They were part of my after school class. My room is designed for students in Kinder-5th grades as I teach life skills, coping skills, anger management, study skills, social skills, conflict resolution,manners, character development, and many other skills. These are taught through the curriculum Second Step and Speak Up Be Safe and many types of games, either in whole classroom settings, small groups, or individually. I enjoy working with the students and seeing them grow. I especially love when they make progress and improve in their behavior, self esteem, and, or academic work. I strongly believe that when I work with students I must be making a positive difference in their education and lives. That's what I strive for daily.
